It started when I was 23. I needed a job and I was at a networking conference. There were 300 people there, and I thought: how am I going to meet 300 people? I could try to speed-network… or I could stand up and use leverage — a force multiplier — and meet everybody at once. That’s exactly what happened. One job opportunity came to me that changed my life, and I realized there’s a “secret door” to opportunities.

Stand Up is really three things: (1) my nine years of stand-up comedy, which created opportunities and refined a skill set I use every single day, (2) standing up for what you believe in, and (3) having the courage to stand up and know that your impact is waiting to happen.
